6 Brazil take on their former colonial masters in a friendly at the Emirates Stadium. This will be the second time that Portugal coach Big Phil Scolari's team play his home nation. Last time they met Brazilian-born Deco, scored the winning free kick in his international debut for Portugal. Since Dunga took over as the Samba Boys' coach there has been a positive reaction with the players recording victory after victory. The former midfield lynchpin has cleared out the dead wood, namely Ronaldo and Adriano, and given debuts to new talent. They trounced old enemy Argentina 3-0 at the Emirates last autumn with a fabulous goal from Kaka after he had dribbled half the pitch. Of course, Portugal have their very own Ronaldo, who is currently absolutely on fire for Manchester United.

8 Film: Cinebiography of Heitor Villa-Lobos, the most important classical music composer of the Americas. The story begins with Villa-Lobos, already an old man, leaving to go to a gala tribute concert on his behalf, at Rio's Municipal Theatre. It is from his feverish and alert gaze in this scene and from others at the same concert, that we are treated to memories of his lifes work. The film, directed by Zelito Viana, includes a great cast, reuniting António Fagundes, Marieta Severo, José Wilker, Marcos Palmeira and Letícia Spiller. Dir Zelito Vianna (2000)
